Lemon Basil Pasta with Yellow Squash

Ingredients
4 tbsp. unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, sliced thin
2 yellow squash, sliced thin
1 lb. fusilli pasta, cooked al dente
¼ cup reserved pasta water
¾ cup grated parmesan
2 lemons, juiced
¼ cup basil leaves, julienned
1–2 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
In a medium-sized pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté until soft. Add squash and cook until tender.
Add pasta, pasta water, and ½ cup parmesan; toss well until cheese is melted.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and basil.
Garnish with black pepper and remaining parmesan.
